Would you recommend the Lx or the Sport?

The Sport adds on the following to the LX:
Security system with remote entry
Body-colored underbody kit
Body-colored rear roofline spoiler
Fog lights
Power windows and door locks
Cruise control
Steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters (5AT only)
200-watt AM/FM/CD audio system with 6 speakers
MP3/Windows Media Audio (WMA) playback capability
MP3/auxiliary input jack
15-inch alloy wheels
No performance differences, but a fair amount of cosmetic and creature comforts added.

You get more color options to choose from and the above listed equipment. Someone broke the value of the sport package down in another thread and found what you get for the $$$ to be a very good deal. As for which one to get... I'd check an LX and a Sport out in person and decide. After you look at them first-hand, you'll be a much better judge of which to buy than some stranger out there on the intarweb.

Funny, but from the driver's seat they both "Look" the same. There is no diff. in the engine, chassis, etc. Sport has bigger rims, diff. auto tranny, colors, etc.
Get whatever looks good to you and have a ball.

I'll start by saying I love the car...and it's decent value either way.
I felt like the sport offered a heck of a lot in the way of looks for a small amount of money. That being said, I think the base is a much better value...the Sport really does creep up a little high, especially with what Civics sell for.
That being said, I chose the Sport. I think the bodywork finished the car and I can't pass up rims over plastic hubcaps. I also wouldn't want to be without keyless entry on my daily driver, and my Element spoiled me with the Aux jack! And hey...Honda...I would have paid $1000 for a moonroof!
I have my Dell DJ cradle mounted in my right cupholder, but it will be replaced once my new dock gets here...I just bought a Creative Zen Vision:M. Before you flame me for not being a iPod guy...the fact that Apple won't support WMA format doesn't sit well with this Microsoft Windows Media Center junkie. I ripped 250 CDs over to WMA 192kbps and I am not about to go through conversions.

Sport is better. If i got the base (i live in US) i would not have wanted to get those expensive wheels, the spoiler and body kit., What i could not live w/o is the auxiliary port. Ihave an ipod, and i had an aux port in my EX civic, and i can't stand radio nowadays so i listen to my own i choose on itunes.
Sound speaker is amazing too. All u need is a subwoofer if u intend to upgrade. All the sport's features i absolutely love. all for 1200$ US dollars
