Early Adopters skewing the numbers as usual. This will quickly drop by July/August.

Mostly because I expect the Fit to be sold out for the year by then. This of course will bump up Civic LX sales even higher.

They won’t sell out before then end of the calendar year. People act like Honda has 40,000 US spec Fits stashed away in Japan, and they are shipping them to the US as needed.

They are building them on a daily or weekly basis. They won’t stop producing them until they retool for the redesign, or unless the Civic needs an even greater production capacity.

And I agree, the hype will diminish in a few months, Honda will keep the supply in check to help keep their value up. Just like they do with all their other models.

Heh, I'll keep an eye out. I'm trying to decide between blue and orange, so it would be nice to see both on the road. I'll be driving a 2002 silver Forester w/ all the options, or a 1979 brick red Volvo staton wagon.

Thanks for all the useful info you've been posting on your blog, BTW.

I was going to test drive one this weekend but got tendonitis so I gotta wait until the arm is healed. DAMN! I wanted to try the Sport AT so badly!

Given the high price of gasoline nowadays, I might not be not far off the mark. Is it small wonder why sales of the Civic and the Accord powered by the K24 I-4 engine have really picked up lately?

released 4-20 april has 30 days so multiply by 3 and then by 12.

OR

take 3792 divide by 10 and multiply by 365. This equals 138,408.
I was just about to reply the same response...
