Looking for a Crystal Black Fit

Hi there,
We're looking for a 2009 in crystal black pearl (sport) and are having a really hard time finding one. No dealer in Oregon or Washington seems to have one. Does anyone know why that is?
Thanks

I'm sure TW will come along with an answer or two. That being said, if the inventory of what you want is so low that there are very few of them, then perhaps it is best to wait for a 2010? The only reason not to get a 2010 is if you are looking for a Fit Sport Navi/VSA with Manual transmission (not available in that configuration in 2010, but is in 2009). Well, okay, 2010's went up slightly in price but probably not enough to stop you from buying.

That being said, I was indeed able to find a few of them using Vehix's new car inventory search. I don't know if they actually still have them but there are a few (your best bet would be after checking vehix.com and other similar mass inventory search sites, to first to doublecheck the dealers websites for their inventory, and then call or email them for confirmation and internet pricing.)

Here are just a few examples:
Fife, WA:
2009 Honda Fit Sport For Sale by Hinshaw's Honda Acura in Fife, WA

Burien, WA:
2009 Honda Fit Sport For Sale by Burien Honda in Burien, WA

Slightly used in Bellevue, WA:
2009 Honda Fit Sport For Sale by Honda Auto Center of Bellevue in Bellevue, WA

I think that would qualify for a bit more than "slightly," categorically speaking!

and they removed the option for a manual transmission with navigation! seriously, I want steering wheel audio controls, but I'm not willing to sacrifice a 5 speed for them! they need to include them on all Sports and not just Navi ones.

Steering wheel audio controls have been solved:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...-non-navi.html

Someone in the fit ice forum did it too. (The above posting has a link to it.)

Personally I'm waiting for pics and a confirmation from a second party, as well as hoping someone with a base will do it soon too.

Basically it's summed up by saying: the same stock HU has steering wheel controls in Europe and Australia, so hence it is clearly possible. All that is necessary to do is to get the controls and add them and some wires.
