Who, like me, is waiting for the 2010 to arrive ?

Dealerships here have sold out of almost all of them, and certainly I cannot find an Orange Sport w/o navi, so the dealer says 1 month or so, perhaps, and a truck will arrive with the 2010's. They will call me when they arrive and I will go get one.

Anyone else in my shoes ? Going to buy as soon as they arrive ?

Are you really in Greece?

I didn't think the Navi (well at least not in the same way it's available in the US) was available in the EU (Well, at very least I checked the UK site and saw that the only Navi available was like a small top-of-dash mounted accessory.)

I did see an ORM Sport w/navi online about a week or so ago but since I don't know where you actually are...

Shearer Honda in Rutland, VT has two of them in ORM.

Honda dealer Shearer Honda located in Rutland VT

I also saw one as I said not too long ago in CT. It was slightly used (read maybe a thousand miles at most.) I saw it posted on ebay by a dealership.

Oh, here it is:

Honda : Fit:eBay Motors (item 270456298681 end time Oct-14-09 02:15:32 PDT)

Look, it's even tricked out with accessories!

Oh... wait.. you said With/Out not... With Navi... heh.

No need to mention Navi if you're just looking for the sport..

There are 5 listed on the vehix search of just the plain sport in ORM:

Search results for New, Used and Certified Pre-Owned near Boston (Manchester, Nh)

Personally I think I'd just spend a little more and go for that one on ebay.

hell

1) must buy one in Mass, I live in Mass. emissions regs and hassle don't
make up for the cost savings tax wise

2) dealer 10 miles away vs 89 miles away. I will wait for an Orange 2010

3) vehix data inaccurate.

I guess you didn't want folks to help you to find a 2009, and really just wondered if anyone else was waiting for the 2010 arrival?

Εξώμβουργο is in Greece. People can't find a Honda near you for you if you don't have the city/state info.

Anyway, just in case, did you check with Lia Honda?

Shows a stick Orange Revolution Sport:
New Honda Fit, Northampton, MA, Hatchback, Lia Honda of Northampton Stock: 090981 Amherst, Springfield, Easthampton

gee, ya think that ?

what could have tipped you off ?

My first thread at fitforums... and I see not many people can stay on topic,
at least not the first responders to this thread anyhow.

My bad.

In your first sentence, you say:
"I cannot find an Orange Sport w/o navi"

This could mean you are looking for one and want help finding one. Which is what we were trying to do, help you find one.

Compare with this thread:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gene...tml#post747668

First post's text is:
Hi there,
We're looking for a 2009 in crystal black pearl (sport) and are having a really hard time finding one. No dealer in Oregon or Washington seems to have one. Does anyone know why that is?
Thanks

Very similar, no? And people here are helpful people. They pitch in helping with finding cars, finding accessories, offering expertise, sharing what they have learned or found.

So, people did try to HELP, because we THOUGHT you might WANT to buy a car and were perhaps fed up or frustrated in not being able to find what you wanted.

And that could be the ONLY reason you were waiting for 2010 model, which is identical to the 2009 model, except it's more expensive.

When people try to help, they kind of don't expect to be verbally slapped in the face. And I think that is what was felt from your response. But it wasn't that people helping were being rude, they were trying to help you find what you wanted.

It was a misunderstanding.

For clarity's sake, it might have been better understood to say:
"I'm waiting for the 2010 model at my local dealership, as I want to buy there and not travel to other dealerships for the car I want. Who else is waiting for their local dealership to get in certain cars?"

Nothing wrong with doing that. And nobody would have spent time looking for the car you want at other dealerships.

I did that, I waited and checked online dealer inventories until one of the local dealerships got in the car I wanted. I was unable to travel to get one, I didn't even have a car to get to any dealership. The dealer I bought from actually picked me up at home. Obviously I could not have had a dealer a couple hundred miles away pick me up.

I will make it simple.

I asked 3 questions.

1) Who, like me, is waiting for the 2010 to arrive ?

then I made some statements...blahblahblah

2) Anyone else in my shoes ?

3) Going to buy as soon as they arrive ?

That is what I was asking. I wasn't asking anything else.

lol I fail at noticing things, I thought you were trying to scan his IP and got the loopback

I didn't realize you could have periods in your screen name. What has the world come to?
