0-44mph \ 0-70kmph times on 1.5L AUTO

Im trying to figure out exactly how fast the acceleration is on the 1.5 litre model.

Can it go 0-70 in 4 seconds? AUTO this is.

I have a list of various mods im gonna do that are known to slightly improve acceleration (meteology pulley, SRI, muffler delete, new\multi-diode plugs).

If it cant, do you think after this is done, it'll be able to? I want a ZIPPY car, not a FAST car. Ive read almost everything on this forum, literally, gonna rent a Jazz\Fit for a day to trial it, then its buy time.

Educate me.

is your sport auto fully stock?

Well if it can be done ins under 5 seconds, i'm happy. I drive a hungry 2Ltr Galant atm (its HEAVY) and takes a good 5 seconds+ to get to 70kmph, which most of my roads are around here (Australia).

if your fit is stock, then thats awesome!

Well i'll be doing a home made SRI and a full muffler delete, so we should be pretty on par there.

With thye lightened crank pulley and multi-diode spark plugs, I should be able to DEFINATELY hit it.

thanks for the input man, makes me feel very good. This measn it'll be faster than my current car, which is all I wanted. currently 6 seconds 0-70kmph
