Feedback on a 2009 Fit price please
I'm looking for advice on an out the door price of $17,286 for a 2009 Base Fit automatic. It's a certified used with about 3 yrs and 3 months left on the warranty.
Opinions ? Advice ?
Thanks,
David

I paid $16,600 out the door on a new 09 base fit auto in August ($15,600 plus tax and tag, no other gimmicks).
I know Fits hold their value, but going up in value? I don't think so.
For that price you could easily get into a new 2010 base auto.

I paid $16920 out the door (710 destination 210 t&t and 6% tax, I forget what the base price was, but it was less than 15k). for my 2010 base model, and that was as soon as they reached the lot. I think you should be able to get a sport model 09 for that price.
Good luck!

OTD prices are such a pain I do not even bother any more, it is the price of the car without taxes that matters.
However keep in mind that an 09 is depreciating about now to the tune of $1000-$1200 vs a 2010
Plus you can often get a better finance rate on a new car and you should be able to haggle $400 off sticker on the new car.
Not wanting to take the time to google FL sales tax and do the math, however the price seems high, very high.
Also worth noting, most dealers make the majority of their profits off of used cars and not the new ones. This seems to be a perfect example of that.
