I saw this today...

And I don't know what to say. Has this been posted before? lol.

Obviously its last years pic, but a couple of things I noticed....first I saw there was the quarter mile time. 16.7 seconds? After putting on a Turbo you only lost about a second? Fuel economy was definitely sucking up gas at 24mpg. My turbo at least I can go faster than that and thats with my slipping clutch at the time. Also MPG is at 28-30 everytime. Final odd thing, there's duct tape holding up the rear bumper LOL! Anyways, could be old news, just thought I'd dig it out again.

That is at 5psi of boost which if I remember correctly is barely enough to cover parasitic losses. And they got 24 MPG because they were trying to get it to act like the Ferrari that it isn't. I would be very upset if that were my car though...

Even so, When Siphon put the gas mileage test onmy car, they ran it up and down a mountain mashing on it..... I still set 27mpg... when the stock was like 29mpg.

I do too... Chris, something tells me that the HKS car wasn't really up to snuff for that C&D review either all of the numbers are pretty weak IMO. I'm trying to remember if that thing was an auto also...

LOL... 0-60mph 8.6 sec...

why bother modding... 95% of the cars out there are still faster.

this was hks prototype car when they were developing a turbo kit.

they used over sized injectors to be on the safe side and hence the terrible gas mileage. the hks kit you can buy has smaller injectors so your mpg should be better than what was posted.
