Strange Clicking Noise when I run the Intermittent Windshield Wipers
I bought my Fit less than a month ago, and recently I've been hearing a clicking sound when I run the intermittent wipers (lower the right paddle one notch) or when I do a quick wipe (raise the right paddle one notch).
I hear the noise in the upper left area of the dash board when I first select either setting, and then each time the windshield starts up again (if running intermittently). Not sure if this has always been the case, but the sounds seems new to me.
Has anyone else heard this noise? Should I take the car in to get inspected? It's rather annoying and noticeable.
Thanks!
Ben

Relay?
Thanks for the reply, Gimme...can you tell me more about what a "relay" means?
And just to clarify, then noise is in response to flipping the paddle. It's more of a single click than an ongoing clicking noise.

It is the relay. Nothing wrong with your car. A relay is an electromechanical device that allows a small current to control a larger current. When a relay switches from "off" to "on," it makes a slight click. Whether you hear that noise depends on where the relay is located and how much sound deadening there is in a car.
