Crazy after X-mas drivers!!

Be careful driving out there!

Wow, its crazy how people drive after X-mas especially near the shopping malls...lol.
Today had a car blow thru a red light at a busy intersection going at least 40mph and clipped my front bumper as I entered the intersection!! The other car never slowed down or stopped so i couldn't get a license number. Its a good thing I went slow thru the intersection or I woulda got t-boned.
No real damage except a little paint got rubbed off my front bumper as the other car wizzed by like a bullet.

Stupid drivers @&$!#?!

Sorry had to vent.

.

it's a fine ballet between the letting off on the parking brake and accelerating normally. Hopefully you do it correctly or you end up at the bottom of the hill or worse!

It's not just after Christmas. I feel that right after Thanksgiving (and especially as Christmas time draws closer) the driving of some people gets worse and crazier. Seems like everyone is out to get the latest deal on something and have no problem cutting you off, zooming past yellow/red lights, passing all the traffic and trying to cut in at the last possible moment, etc.

It was definitely bad on the Wednesday before Christmas. I had to go to the bank for our office on my way home. I pulled out of the drive through and the traffic was heavy coming off the bridge. I had to wait until a break in traffic and started to pull out. Some jerk runs right beside my Fit on the left and jumped into the spot that I was heading to. Had to slam on the brakes and wait until the traffic cleared again. People were driving like Nascar and I could not wait to get home and put the Fit into the garage! Santa gave us a good gift of pretty weather the past 3 days. Got to wash and detail the interior so I've enjoyed running around in a clean car. The white stuff is expected back in tonight and then starts again on Thursday.

I've been having loads of fun with the other people on the road for weeks now.

Of course I'm talking about work, where my car is 45 feet long and seats 55. Seems like I spend half the day dodging a--holes who can't figure out that I'm a hell of a lot bigger than they are. I feel like yelling and can't.
