And if so, how come my "reps" are still at 0 (zero)? If you weren't giving me "reps", then sorry for being so cluelessly assumptive!

How does this "rep" thing work anyway? In the short time I've visited here I've received lots of great advice from you guys and others on the forum. I could have given reps too if I'd known what it was all about. Can't seem to find any info on the whole "rep" thing.

Thanks

BTW, T. Coyote... are you any relation to Wile E. Coyote?
I've never met the guy but I heard he is an incest in law of an old coy bitch that I once stood in line to service one night during a full moon.

I'm not made of money, but I just don't care for copied products and would rather save and spend money towards the real thing. This is what makes all of us different, other people probably think I am an idiot for doing so when I can get copies for less than 1/2 the price, sometimes 1/4 the price. I just don't believe in another company profitting off of what another company brings to market by copying the design. And please don't somebody start spitting out Free-Market bullshit. If Rota would just stop copying designs and start producing wheels of their own design, I would think about purchasing them. Somehow I don't believe they will ever do that, just too many people out there that want the look of the real thing but don't want to spend the money for it. Simply amazes me in all honesty.

Wonder what would happen if/when the big companies just say screw it and close up shop and then there is nothing left to copy for all the copycats in the world?

Gomen nasai for straying off the original topic, but I was reading through the thread and came across a few posts that led to my post. Don't bash my opinion as I am not bashing how other people spend their money and like I said this is what makes everyone different to some degree. To the OP, I'm sure you got enough answers, but don't ever consider purchasing the snake oil propaganda boost products. If you want boost, you are going to have to spend some good money for the real thing.

I'm kinda sad that you said all that but what you said is true. I, for one, would love to have the real deal but I can't afford it. Probably in the future when I get a better job, but for now, copied wheels will have to do. I just love cars so much that I'm willing to put copied wheels on mine!

Oh and qbmurderer, thanks for the info. Great advice bro. +1

Ahh! Ok... so I should feel only so proud for getting positive "reps'', huh?

Thanks for the info, Steve. I'll positive rep you the next time I get something from one of your threads!
