Front link stabilizer

I took my car into Honda for a service today and they told me the front link stabilizer needed replacing. They said it had been removed many times fitting lowering suspension and the threads were stripped, but it doesn't make a noise.

What does this front link stabilizer do exactly? How does it work?

Do I need to get a Wheel alignment done after fitting?

those are endlinks that connect the swaybar to your suspension. they are required to be detached from the swaybar when you remove the strut to do your springs.

and no, you do not need to get an alignment after an endlink change.
