A couple of issues with my sport Fit manual:

I've noticed that when driving slowly on uneven roads as when leaving a parking lot onto the main road, I'll hear a loud twang coming from the front passenger side suspension area. This doesnt seem normal.

I've also noticed that under hard acceleration in first gear that its almost as if the wheels are slipping not connecting well with the road - not at takeoff but in the 5k+ rpm range. (I dont think its the tranny slipping because their is no jump in rpm without corresponding power.) This isnt normal either. I dont know if this is "wheel hop" or what, but my Fit is not connecting well with the road. I dont hear any wheel noise, just the feeling in the car that power coming from the engine is not being applied. Other than at hard acceleration/load the car drives fine.

So does anyone have any ideas or similar experiences. I'll take it to the dealer soon, but I was just curious. Could these issues be related to the springs/dampers not doing their job? Thanks.
