What's your usual seat configuration..?
I'd love a twodoor with the third half-door like the Mini Clubman - still good access to the rear seat, but the longer front doors mean that I wouldn't have the B-pillar rift next to my head. I had a Civic coupe at one point, and lived being able to see directly to the side without having to lean forward.
They may be questionable from a reliability standpoint, but I gotta hand it to most American cars: The sizing of the seat, footwells, pedals, etc, are great for taller guys! I rented a Grand Prix in 2003 - It was the only car I've ever sat in where I had to (gasp!) slide the seat forward. It was a new and unfamiliar experience!

One of my complaints, believe it or not, about the Element, was that it didn't have enough legroom. There was no dead pedal, the steering wheel felt like it was in the way, and my right knee was always against the center console.
Rear seats folded flat. The German Shepherd dog likes it that way. She wasnt comfortable when I tried putting her in the footwell area with the rear seat cushions up. Since the rear area carpet is a dog hair magnet, impossible to clean with a brush, I line the area with a bed sheet.
