Wow I was just thinking of getting a white 4dr Si. Honda seems to becoming a boring company like Toyota. Honda stopped the S2000, NSX, Prelude, and now the Si.

Honda does this all the time, they stopped making the Si Hatchback for a while only to reintroduce it years later. It seems like they're playing the same game as GM did with the Camaro and stop production for a few years only to hype it up when they re-release it.

According to that post on 8th gen the next si will be a fail towards hardcore honda fanatics with the si being coupled with a paddle shifted cvt tranny.

I never really gave the si the hats off when it came to true sports cars performance/dynamics. All it really was is a cheaper rsx type s replacement. Ide like to see the integ and civic type r come to the states.

I'm not too fond of the flappy paddle gearbox. I really hope Honda will come to their senses and offer a conventional 6-speed tranny. I've also heard rumors of the CTR coming to the states.
