Smile A special thanks to KraftWerks

I want to give a special thanks to Oscar, Oscar Jr., and all the guys over at KraftWerks. Over the last couple of days my wife was training some retail teams at various stores in Arcadia and Ontario, California. I drove out there from Las Vegas to keep her company at night. On Wednesday I made the 15 minute run over to KraftWerks in Norco. Not only did I get to meet most of the staff over there but Oscar himself took time out of his busy day to give me a tour of the shop! He showed me the KraftWerks show cars, the R&D areas, some cars they were working on and pretty much everything else. He almost got me to impulse buy a kit for my Fit by letting me hold the intercooler! Don't worry Oscar I'll be making the jump soon!

Oscar also gave me some history on how he developed parts over his life time and the quality expectations he and his team have for the parts they create.

Just when I thought the tour was over, we sat down in his office and talked cars for almost an hour. We even had a technical discussion over how the hybrid cars such as the CRZ will be impacted by boost!

What an outstanding experience I had. I am totally confident that anything these guys design is of the highest quality. Sorry for the lack of pic's. I didn't want to be intrusive or "touristy" with a camera.

Thanks again Oscar, Oscar Jr. and team. And good luck in the Mazda!

my dad's company did work for Oscar back in the day when it was just Jackson Racing... had one of the first MX-5's with complete s/c, header, exhaust from Jackson, including some pulley kits among other things.

i never had the chance to meet him, but my dad had nothing but positive things to say about him and i dont doubt anything he is involved with is a 100% class operation

I like what my car is like with the base kit and when I have the funds I am going for the high boost upgrade.... Since I put louvers on my hood and lowered the intake temperature I have been able to lower fuel consumption and improve performance so that gives me a pretty good idea what the inter cooler will do..... The kit is something that will make you want to keep your fit forever.
