like krakhed mine too was called a clown car.

but they usually shut up in awe when I tell them how I get 35-37 MPG in it.

Besides, they're still upset because I got rid of my 2001 Monte Carlo SS. It was a sweet ride, but I have lost some faith in GM and those minor glitches that can cost when they become bigger problems.

About a month after I got my GE I talked to my brother on the phone. He said "I finally saw a Fit today. I parked next to it and looked it over real good. Its one of those jellybean cars."

I wouldn't consider it the worst thing that someone has called my car, but one of my friend called it the foot of a Japanese anime robot "Voltes V (v for 5)".

If anyone is not familiar, try youtube for comparison.

My brother in law refers to it as the "rocket", as in rice rocket.

The Fit IS "cute". You guys need to stop taking yourselves so seriously.

We bought a cute car. Now get over it.

I think it's a cute little car too..... A cute car with a supercharged engine is surprising cute.... 40 years ago I drove a 67 VW Beetle that was also surprisingly cute and would lift the front wheels off of the ground going into 2nd gear... It was a fun car to drive also.

I wrote my BIL a letter and printed a real nice picture of my Fit for him since he's always been into cars. He showed the picture to his friends and he wrote back laughing at my my car saying that he and his friends were wondering if I was "sporting 12's"

I said that my 12's were better than the Correction Department issued Keds sneakers he has to wear. (Yes, he really is in prison)

I won.

My wife has had hip replacements and has chronic back pain so she finds the seats a bit small and the ride very harsh.

She called it an expensive shit box with a hole in the muffler. Hey every shitter needs a hole eh?

My shark fin antenna is referred to as a pimple.

Sure glad I did not trade the Caravan in for the Fit. We now have two vans - one big and one small.

guess it wasn't really a bad thing but some guy asked me if my GE was a hatchback RSX. it was only funny because isn't the RSX already a hatchback?
