Order a white sport last monday. It will arive July 1 st. Hard to wait that long!

will tell you it's well worth it. I will be at the 1 month
waiting spot on friday, but will also get my Fit that friday

One Month!!! I should be so lucky! I've been to every dealer in town and the earliest they're telling me is October! (for Red Sport MT...)

 

Anyone have pictures of a sport with 16" HPP wheels on it.

 

I don't understand that long... the 2008 will come out at that date...
Have you try with an other color ? You can call Honda and ask them
to tell you where you could find a Fit and when... Sometimes it's only
dealer BS

You know what, this sounds strange but I don't know!

 

Well, I went to 3 different and unrelated dealers and I got the October/November time frame for all. My criteria is Sport Manual, in either Red or Storm Silver. I also told them I'd consier an AT if it was in the Red or Silver too, but that doesn't change their same time frame.
Who could/should I call at Honda? Is there some sort of Honda nationwide lookup service I could use - I thought that'w what dealers were for, but hey, I've been wrong before (maybe even a few times....)

This really sucks. I'm almost at the point of considering something else - I hated the discomfort of the Matrix, the Yaris and Scion Xa are too small - geez, do I have to go for the Aveo???

 

The obvious upgrade is to go with a Mazda3. I'm also considering a Subie Outback Sport for $19.5k or so. That Subie is a lot of car (AWD, roof rack, alloy wheels, four wheel disc brakes) for the money and it's a hatchback.

Too bad Honda does not offer the Civic in a hatchback. Hats off to Mazda for hanging in there on the NA HB market with first the Protege5 and now the Mazda3 hatchback. Was just in Europe where ALL small cars are hatchbacks.

 

Try calling some dealerships a little farther away from Indy. I just did a search on Honda's website for dealerships centered around Indy and just started calling them all.

I was looking for a Red Sport Automatic. I had to go all the way out to Terre Haute, but I finally found one. I'm picking it up on Tuesday.

Just keep calling. You'll find a dealership somewhere that has what you want.

July is just way too long to wait.

I know how bad waiting can be. I once waited a whole year for one of my cars. But then I got it exactly the way I wanted it.

Heck I should have bought the black Fit Sport M/T in Modesto and resold it for a profit around here...
