I called for estimates for my 09 CBP Sport asking specifically for ceramic film. Here are the estimates I got

3M $190
Solargard Supreme $200
Formula One Pinnacle $280

As a whole, these look pretty reasonable. Is there enough info here to make an intelligent decision? Is there a compelling reason one of these films is significantly better than another? Thanks for any input you might have.

 

not bad at all. make sure you tip the guys. my cars use ONYX metalized tint.

 

i would look at the guys previous jobs.. whatever film you get wont matter if you got a shitty installer

 

I paid $150 (cash) for the five back windows of my 09 Fit. It was Madico film IIRC.

 

Have you checked Tintworks? They are also a LLUMAR distributor. I paid $165 for mine for all the windows about 18 months ago w/LLUMAR film.

Thanks for the responses so far. The Formula quote was from Tintworks. I will call them back to ask about the Llumar. Does anyone have any experience with the relative merits of the different brands of ceramic film?
