Warranty question.......
Warranty question.......
A week ago, my younger brother was pulling the trash can up the driveway and clipped the driver's side mirror with the can. Instead of turning on the swivel piece, it snapped off. The housing is now completely detached (other than the wires) from the piece where it meets the door. Is honda going to cover this? I realize that there was some human involvment, but the point of the folding mirrors is things like this. I'm pretty sure a plastic garbage can shouldn't have made the mirror snap off....
Wow, that sucks...
You can call Honda to make sure, (800) 999-1009. You're right, the mirror should have definitely stayed. If the Honda rep says that it is under warranty, I would write down that person's name and call the Honda dealer Service Department. If the Dealer gives you crap, you can call back the Honda rep person and they should call the dealer to put them in place. My friend did that with a Dodge dealer when they wouldn't fix her transmission. The whole conversation is recorded so you can get that case number too. I doubt it will be this hard to get them to fix it.

no they will not, it was a human error, not a defect by honda, wether it should have folded or not isn't honda's problem, it's your brothers problem, thus he should be paying for it, not someone who is not responsisble for it.
