Hit a protruding pipe rail on a fence with the right side mirror of my Base 2010.
-The glass is okay and the automatic movement works fine, but the rounded back cover is cracked and also has a jagged hole in it about the size of a silver dollar. I could glue the crack back together okay, but the hole is a problem...
Has anyone patched the back of an outside side mirror? Any suggestions?
Or, does anyone know if Honda sells just the back plastic black cover for the mirror? -I'd hate to havta buy a whole new side mirror when I don't need to, guessing what that would probably cost!

On second thought it looks like I'd have no problem just pulling that back cowl right off. It's cracked, loose, and has a pretty good hole in it. But what I'm wondering about is if I do that would I be able to just snap a replacement right back in?

I have a pair of covers sitting here that I replaced with the winkers. They are Taffy White.

 

I had to change the cover on my base fit. It cost a whopping $6.01. #11 in this pic.
