Fit CAR NAMES

Ok, a fun question...(and yes, fun is subjective)...Who here has named their Fit, or is planning to name her/him? And what is the name?

I come from a long line of 'car-namers' in my family history...so I can't help it, it's genetic. lol

For example, my first car in the 80's was Mimi (the mighty Micra)...then I had Max (the multi/stanza), then a curiously un-named Nissan Axxess, and I'm now driving 'Xena.' And then there was 'Wally the Whale' (a big ole caprice classic station wagon) and 'Bugs' (yes, a Rabbit), etc., etc., that were all family cars.

Anyone else?

Name for xB

Sometimes you don't get to name the car yourself. One of the guys at work bought a black Scion xB and his co-workers dubbed it the "mini-hearse". Since he's getting close to retirement, I don't think he was especially amused. I had a white 1985 Civic wagon (that reviewers sometimes compare to the Fit) and friends called it the "ice cream wagon" or "Good Humor truck". I have a Storm Silver Fit and catch myself talking to it -- it's so cute sitting in my garage -- but haven't settled on a name.

Well...I don't actually have one yet...so I have lots of time to think...been looking at Japanese baby names... , but I dunno yet. I think it will take a while to find just the right one.

I'm just glad my family is not the only one that names their cars. It looks like I have plenty of good company! Thanks for sharing everyone, and please continue. Lots of great names out there!

This is bizarre - I was outside, just looking at my car and thinking - this car needs a name. Come in, get on this site and see this thread. Got the fit today. I really want to see the glow of the dashboard at night

"Kaiju"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaiju
Looking through an art magazine and marveling at the preponderance of 'cute something made scary' images. Saw some described as 'Neo-Kaiju'' and in discussion with my wife, the name fell upon the car. (Black Sport.)

Only other car I had with a name was also black: '63 Volvo 122s 2 door with a nice red interior. Her name was 'Vivian'.

thank you! It is the silver sport. The current thought for a name is silk. Still thinking though.

Just posted on the waiting time thread. I was thinking that by the time mine gets here it will be the end of eternity. I will think that I just saw an angel. Some people may think that angels don't have wings but mine will have one. Right above it's back window. White sport auto. Hopefuly I will feel like I am in heaven everytime I get behind the wheel. "Angel"
