Yeah, I support the idea of getting the admin to link the site's Paypal account to help fund the site. Sure beats having the dealership's license plate frame

okay, so i wrote to the "contact us" area of the website asking this question. no response yet, but I will keep everyone posted. unless of course someone has a more direct route of getting ahold of the admin. until then, i'll keep looking.

i would give the admins a day or two before you might hear anything back from them though.

 

I'm surprised that no one has suggested the tag line Fit as a fiddle for the license plate frame.

so i heard back from someone about this. we need to finalize a frame and then we can send it in to him and he can send it in to cafepress. I will post the e-mail that i received when I can. is anyone out there a graphic design ninja? maybe we could get a bunch of designs and then vote until we narrow it down. i will try to set up a method of voting. until then, keep on creating!

I say keep it simple and use the text only. What would be awesome is if we could get a simple outline of the Fit to put on either the top or bottom part of the frame.

 

so here's a little something i put together. i agree on the plain text too, but i just thought this would be fun to try in exercising my creative ability.

Okay, so the admin that I have been in e-mail contact with told me to tell people that they could go ahead and contact him if they had any ideas. His screen name is Dojo. He also said that, if anyone is "interested and graphically inclined" there is a T-shirt design contest as well. Okay then, so here's what we have so far with slogans (in order of appearance):

Top:

Bottom:

* All the Info That Fits: 22 chrs
* The GD3 Info Center: 19 chrs
* Downsize This!: 14 chrs
* GD3 Represent!: 14 chrs
* Small Package. Big Fun: 23 chrs
* Go Fit Go: 9 chrs
* We <3 Our Fits: 14 chrs
* FTW: 3 chrs ("for the win" or "f*ck the world"? )
* Back Off the FitFreak: 21 chrs

And then the color codes (this may have to go as something completely different than the slogans, but I like the idea):
* Nighthawk Squad
* Vivid Skies
* Blaze Division
* Taffeta Starz
* Milano Team
* Silver Moons
* Lunar Eclipses

Any that were over 25 characters are not in the poll because they wouldn't be able to fit on the plate frame. Also, we had to narrow it down to ten, so some may not be included.

Decalac will be posting a poll clicky thing.

I'll create a poll for the bottom choices. The only problem that I see with the Color Squads is that several different designs will need to be made as well as voting on Squad names. Maybe I can create a custom choice for just "Squad Colors". If that wins then we can have another round of voting for Squad names.
