Let me get this straight, It's no Volvo, but for such a light car it did EXTREMELY well. I don't see how even a mild highway head-on could be survivable in a fit. It just doesn't have enough mass. unless it takes on other lesser small cars, like the Yaris, or the misc s. korean counterparts. The weight behind the WRX was probably a good 500 lbs at least. The fit did so well that I am going to the stealership to get another one this weekend. They want another $500 over what I paid 1-1/2 months ago.
The fit would make a good in-town car for anyone. I might try to get the FS with the automatic this time around.
Finally got my new fit,
This time it's an automatic Sport... love the paddle shifters...
Paid 13,995 used with 400 miles on the odo... had some minor curb damage, and has a mis matched tire... honda wants me to wait four weeks for a replacement tire.
