when you step on the brakes... does 1 or 2 bulbs light up?

when you step on the brakes... does 1 or 2 bulbs light up?

GD3. I'm referring to the tail light. There's red on top. White in middle. Red on bottom.

I swapped the top red with LED bulb. I forgot if the regular bulbs on top half light up extra bright when hitting the brakes?

I know it doesn't light up extra bright with LED. Only the bottom half does

I think the upper lights are running light only but I could be wrong. It's been a while since my last light check (thanks for reminding!).

I liked my old civic - three in the center and four on the tail made for a nice bright light show. Never got rear ended in that car.

Good Morning FF's,
There's a thread on make them both bulbs brake lights on Honda Fit Forum by Claymore, not too hard of a projct. If your cruse controll acts up remember it need the resistance of the reg. filliment bulb to work prop.
you can add a resistor if needed.

Wow, didn't know some overseas fits came without the lower tails. Interesting read.
