A few annoyances..

Hey guys, on my way home tonight I found a few annoyances with my fit.. first complaint yet.

Number A : Sometimes when you turn the car on and you have left the AC on, it will not get cold right away even after driving down the road abit. So you have to turn it off for like 2 seconds and back on then its cold.

Letter 2 : For thoes of us that have power windows.. when you have the front windows rolled up all the way and got the lights on, but you hit the switches to roll up the windows again the lights will dim untill you let go of the switches, its only the front windows not the rear, I don't see any dimming in the gauges or radio though.

Thoes are the only real little complaints so far, besides the obvious ones of no armrest or deadpedal but thoes can be fixed.

Let me know if any of you have the same or similar problems

I did, sort of, notice that the air conditioner had to be re-turned on. I figured the air conditioner turned itself off even though the light was on when I started the car. I thought it was quirky but easy to live with.

Wat complaints??

You are suppose to turn off the AC when u switch off the car. If you ask any car technician, you're not suppose to leave it on when u start your car otherwise you'll strain the engine. And about the lights dimming when u use your power windows, that's normal for some cars.

I notice that my headlights dim when I turn the AC on. But that is normal with the extra power draw.

Do you hear the compression clutch turn on and off?

Sounds like our Fits may need a bigger alternator? I wonder how the car stereo guys are doing with this car. I'd be really interested in hearing their input.

its just a simple fact that power windows draw a considerable ammount of current.
Look at the fuse box and see what the fuse for the power windows is rated at that should give you an idea of what kind of current range they work in.

if they put a bigger alternator in it, then you might see a decrease in fuel economy and then you would complain about that too.
