Don't rely on people you know nothing about (other drivers) to avoid hitting you. Use your head and practice defensive driving to avoid being hit. The Fit is not that hard to see. It probably is easier to see than my other car which is a Mazda Maita and the motorcycles I rode for 65+ years.
