I hope this isn't a bad omen / indicator of what's to come...

*New blower fan
*New transistor that controls blower fan
*New stereo
*New shifter knob

Car has 26,xxx miles, is right now 1yr 10months old.

 

Fit happens.

Blower and resistor (not really a transistor) are a known issue.

What happened to your radio and shifter knob? (did you mistake one for the other?) kidding.

 

Was told it was a transistor, haven't heard about the problem, link? TSB?

The radio nob jumped around, some time one click was 1 volume step, sometimes it was 10 in the opposite direction. The shifted skin was just worn and falling apart. Might be the AZ heat.
