whats your age, and age of people you see driving fits
hey everyone,
i just had an idea to see what everyone age is on here that owns a fit. also, when you see people driving a fit, what age do you normally see driving them?
i live in a city where the car scene has dropped massively in the last 3 years. theres skylines, and the odd RHD car and truck, but thats about it. theres the usual civic's, tegs, and other cars but no group meets or clubs or anything. so i get made fun of by everyone i work with, which is fine, i don't care. lol....anyways, back on topic.
i'm 26 years old. the majority of people i see driving a fit is 40+. old persons car, i'm here to prove it isn't.

I'm 27 years old.
Most people that drive Jazzes here are yuppies, so they're around the same age as me if not a little older. The perception is that the Jazz is not a car for older people, especially due to the firm ride.
The FD Civics are more inclusive of driver ages (my mom drives an FD1 and she's 59, but lots are yuppie-driven too), while the Accord is generally for older people with moolah. That's how it is here generally.

If someone was giving me a biker wave from a Fit, because I was driving a Fit, I probably wouldn't register it as that. "I see you bought a subcompact economy car. I too bought a subcompact economy car. We should spoon some time."

I am older than dirt...well practicing anyway.
Age depends on my commute. I drive by seizure world every day, the Fit drivers around that area ARE older than dirt. But since I work close to UCI, the Fit drivers down there are college age.

I'll echo what most people have said: I'm mid-20s but see a pretty wide range of people driving Fits (in Southern California). I'd guess the average is at least ten years older than me, but it's not unusual to see folks my age.

i bought my gd3 when i was 23 sold it to my dad a few months before i turned 26. my youngest brother (17yrs.), my younger brother (24yrs.), and finally my dad (52yrs.) all love it as much as i did and still do; my mom can't drive it cause it's MT but she loves it all the same. props to Honda for building a car that appeals to a demographic melting pot of all generations.
it's almost paid off now and i have a feeling it'll be in the family for a long time....... then it'll eventually find its way back into my hands so i can shoe-horn a k20 in the engine bay after my income murdering wedding
