Glad to hear you can get you car fixed. Sorry you and passenger are sore..
In addition to the chiropractor--push for therapeutic massages, too. I did that several years ago when I was rear- ended on the interstate by some kid.

I remember once this one dude kicked in my door of my car. I don't know what it was about. But later on I screwed his girlfriend for payback. I ended up with the bill though.

But I'm carrying iron knuckles since I'm a small dude. Yet I am trying to juice myself up
