Salvaged Fit picture. Do you think this could be repairable?

They repaired this damage and now want 12,000$ for it. It's an auto with navi and 20,000 miles.
Any thoughts? Could the frame be out of alignment? Does the price sound alright? Also, do you think the airbags would deploy with such extent of damage? The seller claims that non of the airbags have been deployed.

The seller just emailed me ans said that the car didn't need alignment and was "just fine". The shop says they have receipts for all parts replaced. And of course now it looks like this

^why are you looking for another fit? is it because you want an auto one now? from the looks of it, theres a possibility that the airbags didnt go off if there were no front passenger at the time.
lastly, with an accident like that, the car will never ever handle or drive the same.
and from the first picture, it seems like the front side beam is falling off..not sure if that's part of the frame..im not car expert. i would pay MAX if you really want it, $7500.

When I was a kid, my dad when repairing something would say "Anything Built By Man, Can be Repaired by Man." ...then he would happily launch into his project.
What Dad left out of the equation? Well anything repaired by Man...can still be pretty F'ed up....
IMO even though there would be a chance you could drive that Fit and never have a problem...that "savings" wouldn't be enough to get me to take the chance.
But if your a gamblin man....????
Just warning you, my dad often repaired the same things over and over and over....

You could always take it to your mechanic and have them check the alignment, along with other warning signs for future issues- they will know what to look for.
As the other poster mentioned... be very careful about what kind of shape the title is in. Do some googling about salvage titles.

Roll the dice

I think I know a little bit about cars so I gave the car a good look over and drove it around. It drove good and felt/sounded good all the way around. In my case, there was no way I can afford the going price for comparable year and model (anywhere from $10k with 95k mi to $15k+ with < 20k mi). So I went with my gut instinct and bit the bullet. Drove it to WA and back (~ 2k mi round trip) as my own stamp of approval (peace of mind). The car drove fine without any issues. So I'm ok with my "roll of the dice" so to speak. Hope this helps
BTW, salvage means, anytime repair exceeds I think 75% or 80% of the car's value, insurance companies won't bother getting it fixed and offer monetary compensation instead. Good luck!
Why not drive a new one and then compare? If the car drives/handles all right, make a real low offer and be prepared for it to be accepted. Under $10k. The dealer will turn you down and call you back in six weeks to ask if your offer is still good. The car is only worth what a buyer will pay today.
Cheers.
