Honda Fit vs. The Christmas Tree

hey peeps,

my g/f called me saturday moring, and told me to meet her at her grand parents house that night. so, i went out, not thinking much about it. when i get there, there are 6 trees in the yard, and the g/f was looking at them picking one out. my stomach sank. i knew exactly what she wanted. lol. she has a 07 civic coupe, and she seemed to think the tree wouldn't fit in her car, or on her car, so she wanted to put it on my car. i said no go, find another way. long story short, i managed to fit, a 7foot tree, INSIDE my fit. i had no camera with me, and i'm kicking myself for not taking a cell phone pic and sending it to myself, cuz this was really something to see.

heres a pic of the tree up and decorated.

anyone else have a christmas tree in their car before? the car has a great "pine" smell now. lmao

I took one home a couple weeks ago on top of my Fit. Not ideal but I figured better than getting sap all over my interior. Did you use a blanket or anything?

Also, that tree looks beautiful, and huge.

No Christmas tree but I did haul 2 bales of straw and wished I had used a tarp. But the smell was nice even if not pine or fir.

Yeah, I did the plastic prelit thing this year. No cool pictures, but I just flipped the rear seat to tall mode and stood the box on end.

I brought a tree home in the Fit on a rainy night in '08. Wet, cold tree in tiny heated car = instant fog.
