I'm starting to think gas brand matters
Arco AmPM
i was told by a friend arco was just as good as other companys gas n the only reason it was cheaper was because they didnt have talking cars or i mean less advertising and i thought about it they really dont but so not really sure of rather u get what u pay for applies to that situation
P.S. Chevron with Techron FTW!!
The only way that different brands of gas can be accurately compared for mileage is to drive a vehicle under identical conditions, e.g., on the same roads at the same speeds for the same distances with the same tire pressure and atmospheric conditions using the same throttle and rpm pattern and accessories each and every time the vehicle is driven.
And we all know that's impossible to do, because driving in the real world involves constantly varying conditions, e.g., speeds, distances traveled, traffic patterns, road grades/surface conditions, headwinds, tailwinds, hot/warm/cool/cold ambient temperatures, dry/humid ambient air, tire pressures, and different gas pedal/air cond./electrical accessory usage patterns, just to name a few.
Also, E10 gas decreases gas mileage.
Even mounting the vehicle on a dyno will not produce accurate results because of varying ambient conditions.
