Car makes sizzle noise after turning off car
Anyone experience this? I noticed that my car makes a faint hissing/sizzling noise right after I turn it off. It seems like the noise is resonnating from the Alternator or AC Compressor. Anyone notice this? Also, could condensation from the AC line cause this? My AC line always leaks water (condensation) onto my ABS system.

try running with out the A/C, and then see if it still does it when you cut it off.
the way you are describing it, it does indeed sound like an AC related deal. keep in mind the AC lines have a high pressure and a low pressure side, when the car isnt running, the two sides have a tendancy to want to equalize pressure. It's also possible that the noises you hear are condensation from the un-insulated parts of the AC lines dripping down onto hot parts under the hood, like exhuast manifolds, the brakes, transmission, the engine intself.
Either way, it's likely harmless, but if you're worried about it, take it into your service department and have them check it out while it's still under warranty in case it actually is a gremlin
