1st time buyer help in Springfield Virginia!
HI Fit Freaks
I'm about to purchase my 1st FIT sport and I was wondering if anyone had any great deals or dirty dealer intel on the new 2011 models in the springfield area:
Tysons
Woodbridge
Fairfax
As I'm an utter newb, my FIT knowledge is laughable... and I was wondering if there is any difference between the 2010 and the 2011 FIT sport
manual trans ^_^ to handle snow conditions
any help will be appreciated

We bought a 2009 Fit from Honda of Tysons a few years ago and had a good experience. The .9% finance offer for the 2010 Fit is good until the end of February and prices are low at the moment. You can get a very good deal.
The 2011 will have stability/traction control standard. The 2010 only offers it on the Fit w/Nav.

Went to woodbridge and Fairfax to look at cars. People at Woodbridge were nice, but settled on Landmark in Alexandria because of availability of Man transmission.
I see your name is LeLionNoir. If you speak French there is a lady there named Prisque Domitille and she is Béninoise and speaks French. Might get a deal from her.
As Fitsquared mentioned, 0.9% financing is the way to go. If you want a car that can really handle snow go look at Subaru Imprezas. They are very versatile. Downside is gas economy.

Hey there! Congrats on deciding on the Fit! It might also be a wise choice to check with a bunch of dealers in the area.
I just bought my 2011 AT Fit sport from Shockley Honda last week and got a great deal (granted it was last day of the month) but they're about an hour from springfield and worth the drive if the deal is better. Plus looks like they have quite a few 11 manual fit sports in stock.
I dealt with Juan. Quoted me 15995 (not including dest and $100 proc fee)...obv it would be cheaper for a MT.
Worth an email if nothing else but to get a better price at your local dealer
Good luck!

Thanks So worth it to at least submit a price quote. But year Juan pretty much told me that I was getting a great deal because it was the 31st...I wasn't expecting to go home with a car that day but couldn't pass up the deal! First time going to the dealership completely by myself and doing all the dealing but getting the firm internet price before going in made it so much easier, just had to haggle on trade in price.

The best thing...
to do since there are so many Honda dealers in the area is to get a quote for the car you want from as many possible. Then take the best deal. There are sites that allow you to submit quote requests to multiple dealers. Once you have a low price you can shop that price to your closest dealer and if they won't match, go to the next dealer. The internet managers sometimes have more leeway than ordinary salespeople.

I got my fit! unfortunately I saw some complete jackass taking a pee on my new FIT's driver's wheel and on the back of my Aunt's Honda CRV...if it wasn't for the fact that I was visiting my aunt and her teenage daughter, I would have beaten the shit outta him until his own mother wouldn't recognize him. Fucking asshole is no better than a dog (filthy son of a bitch) and even then rarely would a dog pee on a car. (Once again Im grateful for not owning a handgun or testing out my new knife)
Had I dished out some grief, my aunt and her daughter would have suffered the consequences, so I just let it go, besides it'll wash off in the rain. Happy at getting a black, automatic fit ^__^ can't wait to break her in!
