How do I shut off the B-12 warning

I don't care to perform the maintainence required (yes, when it stops working I'll deal with it). Thanks.

I somehow doubt this guy has any intention of reading the manual with that sort of attitude.

Just press the odometer button after you start the car. It will go away.

It'll go away permanently in a few months when your engine dies and you have to buy another car.

Sell the Fit and buy some roller blades.

You are obviously too lazy and stupid to own and operate a car.

can't wait to see whats left of the air filter and the clumpy sludge that drains out of it someday.

I'm sorry that my definition of routine maintenance is "TOO SERIOUS" for your liking.

The only funny fellow here is you.

There is simply nothing to say...other than...hillbillies and rednecks...SPITBALLS AT A BATTLESHIP...I can see what the inbreeding has done to you all... DO YOU ALL REALLY WORK FOR THE DEALERSHIPS? you see someone who can't afford to do pay maintainance...so instead of providing advice, you just retreat to you cars (that you live in) and mate with and think I am the dumb as*. Ha. I'll be happy to keep writing as long as you inbred fools care to show your enlightened manner.

i'll bite

if you can't afford the maintenance, how do you afford your payments? or to put gas in the car? the fit is one of the absolute cheapest cars to own on the market now days in terms of maintenance.

B12 means change engine oil and filter. It's 30-40 bucks per 10,000 miles. If you cannot afford to change the oil in the engine, you can't afford the car.

Red face be proud guys

Well this thread really got off to a good start.
What a warm welcome, draw swords and all come out swinging and bash a new guys rep.

nycny seems like you came in through the wrong door, sorry for that.
The owners manual should tell you how to reset the MM. Question is what's the mileage and how soon before you can swing the oil change?

K_C_

edit: I really have to say this is a poor indication of where this forum might be heading. If a mod is watching [yea right] step up and do the right thing and restore nynyc's rep, not that he might care, because I'm sure he's been chased off by the pitbulls. Real sweet!!

Finally a class act. Much appreciated. The oil is changed regularly...maybe every 7-9K miles...I thought I was asking a simple question (How do I get the idiot light to go away). I was just kidding about the lack of ability to paY...JUST TRYING TO MAKE THE HILLBILLIES FEEL BAD...FIND THEIR SOUL.

It's funny...a moderator? Pitbulls? I'm on some hit list since a bunch of hillbillies are offended that I want to shut off my idiot light and worry about it later.

Thanks again for loaning some semblance of kindness and logic to the fray. I'll let you define these words for the hillbillies...

That makes sense as the A-1 light went on last week and the B-12(or B 1,2) went on this week as I hit 60K miles...how do I shut the both off? I tried what worked successfully in the past to shut off the A-1 light...but that won't work now (I expect cuz I now have two idiot lights).

BTW oil have about 7K miles and will replace shortly and the air filter cabin and engine were replaced at the same time.

All I want to do it turn these idiot light off.

To the OP:

Do not send me another retarded love letter at my email unless you have a question or want help. You want to talk shit? Do it in public you pussy.

If you got off to a rough start here you have only yourself to blame.

If you had taken 3 minutes to open your manual or do a search you would not have gotten such a beating and we would not have had to suffer your stupidity.

As noted the Fit is one of the cheapest and easiest vehicles in terms of maintenance that you will find.

This is a forum dedicated to people who modify and maintain their car, if you can't be bothered with such tough stuff, take my initial advice and get some roller blades, I am guessing you already have a helmet based on your posts.

Calling us rednecks for pointing this out to you doesn't make a damn bit of sense.

It would be like me calling all New Yorkers assholes because of my interactions with you.

How many rednecks do you think live in Chicago by the way?

Don't send me little love notes in email or private message and don't start anymore of these stupid threads. I am not the type to whine to a moderator or the owner, but if you don't cut that shit out I will in a hurry.
