A/C switch not working?

Hello, I have a Blue Honda Fit Sport. This weekend I drove it for a 100 mile roundtrip visit to a friend. I noticed that the A/C button does not engage and stay. It does work by holding your finger on the button and by using the DeFogging/Defrost settings.

I had the Music Link installed and by looking at the installation it appears it may have caused this problem.

I have a service visit scheduled for tomorrow, but I wanted to see if anyone else thought the Music Link installation may be the cause as do I.

thanks,
joe

In order for them to install the MusicLink, they have to pull apart a large portion of your dash. It's entirely possible that not all plugs were returned to their proper positions, during the reassembly process.

yeah that wouldn't surprise me either, what Dewalt said, they have to disassemble your dash to install the iPod deal. Odds are that they'd find the issue and put it right and send you on your way with a free carwash or something for your troubles.

I expected to hear these answers. It makes me feel better. I figured it was the cause (hoping it's a qick easy fix).

I have a cross country trip planned for next Monday (CA to NC) and will definately need the A/C, not to mention it should work in any case.

These forums make the internet worth it.

I appreciate any input and anymore anyone else has to add.

If only I could have got close to MSRP for this car. I hope it's worth the trouble.

Blue Fit Sport - $18,800. Burlingame, CA

Regards,
Joe
