Question audio fit sport

2011 sports model. upgrading system. questions follow.

1. will replacing HU cause the speed sensitive volume to not work?
2. Is there a separate factory amplifier? if so where is it located?
3. It has 6 speakers. what size are they?

Yeah.... cause it's a function of the HU. It takes the signal wire from the ECU about how fast the wheels are spinning and calculates the boost needed (depending on your SVC setting).

Don't think so.

I don't know... my guess is four door speakers are 6-1/2 with the remaining two being tweeters.

ok. think i'll still upgrade the HU and at least the front speakers. i may add kick panels for 2 more.
I just got the car, so i wanted to have some forethought about what i'll be getting into and if i need to find the OEM amp so i can disconnect..etc.

i also plan to throw my W6 sub in there, i guess i'll use the passenger side floorboard with that part of the rear seat folded up to maximize my hauling space...i never have passengers anyway.
