Holy Batman! I can't imagine having to pay anything over 5.5% in interest. Do you guys have below good credit?

Since the Feds have been raising rates, it's actually rare to get anything below 5.75% these days -great credit, or not.

For me it's not really bad credit as in not paying bills, it's a matter of risk since this is my third car to them. It doesn't really matter to me, I planned on paying it off soon so it was more important to get a loan without early payoff penalties.

I was going to head down to a Credit Union to take out a loan for the car, but wasn't sure if its worth the hassel if the saving isn't significant.

I got 5% from the local credit union. Started to give me a hassel but I requested the manager. It became simple from there. PSECU offered 5.49%. Check out bankrate.com. They have a listing of banks and credit unions with interest %.

What model did u get? Sport Automatic

How much did u pay? MSRP + extended warranty (should be worth it if their service dept. doesn't suck, got it for 1/2 price) + security guard (already on the vehicle from the lot, bleh) = about $17,800 USD

How much did u put down? $3,000 USD.

How much a month are you paying? $353 USD a month for 60 months, 10.8% interest rate (I have limited credit, not bad credit, so that's the best deal I could get. I tried to get outside financing, but they wouldn't approve me. Ah well. This'll build my credit for my next car, my payment isn't too crippling, and I got the exact car I wanted.)

Questions:
What model did u get? Sport Auto
How much did u put down? $8500
How much a month are you paying? 7.95% 253.22 / 63 mo.

I paid a little more because I threw in the Service Plan and Lifetime Oil change. Not big of a deal. Make some early payments and your number of payments will go down quick.
