Weird millage fluntuation

I have an 07 Fit auto. For the first two years I was getting 31-32 mpg with one exception of a 41mpg on a long trip. The next two years starting around 45k, it started to get 26 -27 mpg. Suddenly, for the last several months, I am getting 33-37mpg starting around at 74k miles. Same driving style and road condition. Any explanation for it? I am not complaining

AFAIK, dirty O2 sensors might kill mileage.

Look at here: POOR MPG and O2 SENSORS

I have weird mileage fluctuation too. In the winter I was getting between 26-30 mpg. On Saturday my hubby filled my car up with unleaded gas and I got 35mpg driving the same roads I did with the lower mileage. I am wondering if the blend of gas changes in April? I am glad I got 35 mpg during my weekend grocery shopping around town. My car has around 16, 500 miles on it.

What kind of maintenance history does your Fit have (including getting new tires)? Also, how do you normally drive it and what kind of fuel do you use?
