Shocking
I am starting to lean towards the seats causing it now. I showed my friend the Fit yesterday. I unlocked it and opened the front door. "Here have a seat and check out all the room inside" I said. "Wow it is roomy in here." He replies. Then as he starts to get out of the car. ZAP! Now I had opened the door and no shock, and he touched it before he got in and no shock. The car neither moved or even had the key put in it. So it has to be the seats right?

My Mazda MX-3 has a little "Touch Pad" on the door panel that discharges static.
I will have to remember to touch my foot to the ground before touching the metal of the door. I get shocked nearly everytime.
I got spoiled with my MX-3. Barely ever get shocked with it.

when my girlfriend and i where gettin out of the car, i got the shocks too, but not her, then she told me that i was probably not drinking enough water and i was dehydrated... i thought it was kinda silly but after drinking alot of water lately i never experienced it again.
i know it sounds silly but give it a try might work cos it worked on me
