Maybe time to go from Fit to Accord

Hi all, I mainly use my Fit to commute 60 miles one way and the firm ride is finally getting to me. It might be time to upgrade to an Accord. I drove a Civic and the ride feels pretty similar to the Fit. Anyone have an Accord that can chime in?

With the resale values of the Fit at a high, I could get into an Accord SE for a tad bit more.

We have an 03 Accord V6 coup. Does it count? Tires and gas are a lot more. But it's a different class of car. Scary fast.

I used to own 2000 Accord 4 cylinder AT until I upgraded to FIT.

Being a bigger car, under the law of physics, the Accord ride is smoother and more luxurious than FIT...... but each fill up at the pump cost $85 versus FIT $45

If you do 3 fills up per month, you will be spending about $120 per month more.

So, the question that only you can answer is: Does your lifestyle and driving preference and driving enjoyment of an Accord warrant the expenditure of additional $1,500 a year more in gas, plus more in servicing etc. If your answer is yes, then it will be worth your while to spend and you will be happy with an Accord

For myself, I had made my 2nd best decision in life in upgrading from Accord to FIT.

My best decision in life is marrying my wife.... I have to say that in case she reads my post.
