Crazy window issue

It's not a major problem but it drives me nuts and was curious to know if anybody else is experiencing this...

I like to keep my Fit clean and especially the windows. I routinely keep the windows clean inside and out and my issue is with the rear window on the hatch. During the day-light when I look through my rearview mirror, everything is crystal clear but at night it's almost useless as it's real hazy and really hard to see anything besides another car's headlights.

It looks as if there's a film of something on either the rearview mirror or window and cleaning does no good. For a second I thought it might have something to do with the "high beam switch" (or whatever it's called) on the bottom of the rearview mirror but that didn't help.

Does anybody else have this problem?

I have a "haze" that builds up on the mirror and front windshield if I have fresh air blowing and no AC when its lightly humid out. Usually goes away once I have the AC going.

Evening is when warm air mists up and becomes visible. It also cause it to condense onto surfaces.

Try Invisible Glass by Stoner. Works like a champ, inside and out and on that rear view.

Goobz makes a good point, and after the miles he just put on he's damann ;-)

Standard home glass cleaners can't get rid of the haze for me, but I discovered that using a standard cloth (dry, no cleaning fluid) can get rid of it.

Newspaper is known to be a good glass cleaner. I use it. Try it. Preferably the ones you've read already. Using new ones can get expensive

I never had luck w/ newspaper... but single-ply [cheap] paper towels work good for me on the first go-around, then micro fiber to finish. Also, since the www not too many newspapers laying around ;-) Local town paper is saved for starting up the bbq and the wood stove.

static

I have a big issue with static cling on my windshield! Megs NXT Glass Cleaner with newspaper or microfiber---it doesn't matter which. What kills that cling?
