AT/brake question
You know, that 150 ended up sitting around for a while and this guy stops by one day and says he would like to buy it. So on an act of faith I say sure. He convinces me to let him take it and keep the paper work and he'll settle in a few days. I never saw him or the truck again - no big loss, he sort of took it off my hands by 'stealing' it in plain sight, more like convincing me to give it to him!
Well I tried tracking him down for a while, then figured I would see it around - small town thing and about a year later I get a call from some guy who asks me about the truck. Seems it was left in an old 'civil war era' ware house and the dude stiffed the landlord for rent and left crap behind.
I said I knew the truck and had no interest in it and wasn't at all surprised to hear what the guy had done but was surprised he had located the 150.
Lot's of ways to get rid of things I guess.
BTW I replaced that truck w/ a 1972 Impala. A true behemoth. Nothing like scratching the bottom of the barrel, but I loved that ride and the huge bench seats. It met it's demise when the upper A-arm let go at 60mph to a screeching metal on metal sound and a drastic NASCAR move to reach the right shoulder.
That got me into Japanese cars being sold by American car companies for a while.
