Greetings from a new owner
Hi everyone - brand new Fit owner here. Just bought a 2012 in black with manual trans. Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Car seems great so far - I had a 2005 Civic previously, and a 1998 Prelude before that, so you could say I'm a Honda fan. Even worked at a Honda dealer for a while a few years back. I'm an avid motorcyclist, so I figured I'd put my bike in the photo too; it's an '05 Suzuki SV650 in case anyone was wondering. I'm also a photographer, so definitely expect to see some photos when I get a chance. Hope I enjoy the Fit as much as you all seem to - cheers!

Good choice with the manual transmission (save the manuals). When i was looking for cars I was surprised with how few manuals the dealers are carrying now. I had to wait almost a month, I could of had my choice of 4 autos.

Thanks everyone for the compliments for both the car and the bike
Looking forward to doing a little tinkering over the winter. Someone asked about a mod list for the bike, so here goes:
Headlight from 04 GSXR 1000
Supertrapp disc muffler
Suburban Machinery type 1 handlebars
Cheap-o bar end mirrors
Cartridge fork emulators and Sonic springs
ZX6-R rear shock
Corbin seat
Solo passenger seat cowl
Tech Spec tank grips
Black powder coated bits (rearsets, radiator guards, rear foot pegs)
A few other little things I'm probably forgetting - love the SV though, definitely recommend it!
As far as mods for the Fit go, I'm not planning anything too crazy...first thing that will need to go is the horn - gonna take care of that asap. Probably some modest window tints, a short shifter (or just cut and rethread the shifter to make it a couple inches shorter - anyone here do that?), maybe an intake at some point or just a K&N filter, not sure. I've kind of grown out of car modding since I had the Prelude, which I modified pretty heavily. It's an expensive hobby for sure, and I'm not looking to put a whole lot of money into it to be honest. Great little car though, and I'm sure I'll have some good times and plenty of miles to enjoy it!
