I just got some great news from the Honda dealer. I had a deposit down for a VBP Sport AT and it was due in mid-September. Then this weekend they called me and said someone changed their mind and one was available in 1-2 weeks. He asked if I wanted to be bumped up to that one. Of course I said yes so now it turns out I only have to wait a month instead of 3 months from the time I put the depposit down. I can't wait to get it, I have dreams about it. Has anyone else had the same good fortune as me? I feel so lucky and now I am counting the days sooner than I expected.

We put a deposit down on a VBP base 5m/t. The dealer said it would be 4-6 weeks before he even KNEW anything. *sigh*

 

I had a very similiar situation and was fortunate like you. I was waiting and not expecting to get my Fit until mid to late July, then the dealer called on June 26 and said "I have one right here that a customer decided they did not want, do you want it?" Heck ya I want it!

I'm almost afraid to say anything for fear I'll jinx myself...but I just had a call from my Honda dealer last night to say that they've made a "5 car trade" around Ontario and my BOM MT Fit should be on their lot sometime today! Could it be true? I've gone from no production date and likely October+ delivery to...this weekend???

Thats awesome for you... from going from no date to maybe this weekend... wish I was that lucky when I was waiting for mine. Even though I only waited 6 weeks it felt like a lifetime.
