I want to tape the audio and power cables for my phone to the dash inconspicuously. Black electrical tape looks good, but doesn't hold. Duct tape would probably work, but won't look as good and would likely leave residue. Has anyone found a tape that sticks well to the plastic but doesn't hurt the car?

I have considered cutting a notch and feeding cables behind the panels, but that's more invasive than I want to do right now.

Well, the electrical tape will stick to the duct tape so you could use duct tape and then black electrical tape over that to hide the duct tape.
