I got my Fit primarly as a commuter car but when I was deciding on a car to buy I was attracted to all the room this car provides. Right now we are also using it to get my lab to the local dog park so he can have a good run and enjoy the pond. (loves the water). We are also getting him a playmate soon so we are very pleased with this car. Several folks have looked inside my car and are amazed at all the room for a small car. Very pleased at this point!

Yeah actually one of the main reason I wanted this car is the space for my dogs. I occasionally go to dog shows and stuff to so will be great for long distance.

 

Same reason why I got the car. Great car to carry our dogs.

 

Do you really need all that room for Micky and Jacko? Hell, they could play hide and seek back there, or make long distance calls to each other!

 

I am miserable if I don't have a dog in my life... I love the critters.

 

Mine hauls both of mine BUT the biggest thing I hate is the fabric on the seats. They attract dog fur like no nothing else. You'll have to hand pick it off since nothing will remove them easily.
