I'm planning to keep my 2012 for at least 5 or 6 years, but the new Mazda 3 hatch looks very cool. I hope they put more leg room in the back seat. I test drove a 3 before buying the Fit and the lack of leg and head room in the back seat was the only real drawback for me.

WRX's are good...I'd pass on the VW unless you like doing a lot of fixin...I've owned all types of vw's and none were reliable, even new ones have electrical issues...but the gti is fun to drive.

I miss my '09 WRX. Awesome fun, and the fact it was amazing in bad weather made it one of my favorite cars that I've owned.

I just test drove a new Fiesta ST - fun to drive, felt really quick, but the cabin felt much smaller than the Fit. It had the SYNC stuff without navigation and that was pretty cool.

Trunk floor is definitely much higher then the Fit's, and with the rear seats not folding completely flat, it doesn't see as usable.

Driving it like a normal person the clutch felt pretty grabby, but I'm sure it was partly to myself not really being used to the car. $21,990 with a sunroof, but I don't think it's for me. I wanted to like it, but the Fit will be in my driveway through the winter at least.

When the Fiesta first came out I was considering one then Ford came out with pictures of the new Focus and I was thinking of getting one. Then they announced the ST which I was getting pricing for when the Dealers could take initial orders. I got several quotes but several things turn me off rear leg room, reliability of the regular Focus, summer tires only offered and premium gas. So I decided to get the Fit based on the reviews all saying fun to drive, cost of ownership and to be honest there is really nothing being offer that excites me at this time.

From what I read, the Fiesta ST can take either 87 or 91, but to get the full performance you need to run 91.

I just bought a 2014 Lexus IS350 F-sport. Great car with lots of power. Mileage is OK, getting about 25mpg unlike my Fit which is getting 33-35mpg with over 42k on it.

Does it count if I have considered and went ahead and pulled trigger and then replaced the considered car after it got wrecked a month after purchased new?

Had my new '09 Fit sport for 3yrs and few months. Logged ~89,000 miles on it and "mods in sig". Traded it for a new '13 Subaru WRX limited sedan in satin white pearl on March 28th. Subie was involved in collision July 1st and got totaled, I was not at fault.

While waiting on insurance riff raff, searched for a new '13 STI in same color as replacement/upgrade, which there were none within 1000mi of so cal. I went and pulled trigger on a new '13 BMW 535i M sport in Alpine White

I have just over 41,000 miles on my Fit I purchased in July 2006 and a shitload of unfinished modifications to finish.. It's not going anywhere as long as I'm alive and still able to drive it.. My wife is talking about trading her new looking, low mileage 2009 Forester in on a new Outback when the new updated model comes out for the 2015 model year.. I'll pay for the turbocharged engine and other performance options on the down payment... What I want is one more very fast motorcycle while I'm still able to point one down the road.
