Can you fit in a Fit?

We have two mountain bikes, one with a largish frame, one with a somewhat smaller adult frame. I believe only one allows the rear wheel to come off easily.

I would test fit but 1) that would be a pain since I don't need to take them anywhere right now and 2) one of them is at my parent's house.

Think I can fit both, while still having two people occupying (any of the) two seats? Has anyone got THREE bikes in, just out of morbid curiosity?

I have a second gen but the interior dimensions are somewhat similar so feel free to tell me for first gen as well.

 

I have fit 3 medium size mountain bikes with the front wheels off. I have also fit 2 mountain bikes and a TON of camping gear in my fit at the same time, but I had to remove everything to get the bikes in and out when I used them. Now I'm getting a hitch and bike carrier for camping/bike trips.
