My 3 year total gas milage results
2009 Sport Auto - no paddle shifters here.
My driving is 60-70% city short runs.
Mileage is 37,000 kms or 23,000 miles.
Results were 38 mpg Cdn or 31.6 US gal or 7.4 L/100 km
I never really tried to obtain great mileage or did not drive it hard. On occasion liked to just leave it in 3rd to hear the HKS.
Gas Cost - $3072 Cdn

4 yr totals
Hi guys,
I have not been on here much in recent months. Nice to see people talking about gas mileage again. Here in NM the price just dropped a bundle, from $3.59 gal down to $3.30 gal....sweet!
Our mileage totals and averages stay very constant....keeping in mind that in NM regular gas is 86 Octane.
We live high in the mountains (7500 ft), and we do slightly more hwy miles than town miles...but we only have 5 stoplights in town....so that helps. Our totals are hand calculated.....keeping them in a spreadsheet.
After 4 full yrs of driving, we are averaging 40.81 mpg. This is a 5-speed stick...and we often load it with 3 kayaks going down to the Rio Grande river.
We do keep our tires at 40 psi. We like the ride, and we love the mpg.

Just out of curiosity, is that really a bundle dropped? Even if every single week you filled up from empty to full, you would save just $160/year. Even at a $1 less a gallon price with the above scenario, you would save just $551 for the year. Gas is till quite cheap. A gallon of milk costs more than fuel.
